Chicken Nuggets Recipe

 Ingredients:
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Cooking oil (vegetable or canola oil) for frying
  • Optional: Dipping sauces (ketchup, barbecue sauce, honey mustard)

Preparing the Chicken:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces or strips.

Coating the Chicken:

  • In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Dip each chicken piece into the beaten eggs, then coat them evenly with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

Cooking the Chicken Nuggets:

  • Heat cooking oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  • Once the oil is hot, carefully place the coated chicken pieces into the pan in batches. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
  • Fry the nuggets for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn golden brown and are cooked through.
  • Transfer the fried nuggets to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake the chicken nuggets in the preheated oven for an additional 10-12 minutes to ensure they are fully cooked and crispy.

Serve and Enjoy:

  • Once baked, remove the chicken nuggets from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  • Serve the chicken nuggets hot with your favorite dipping sauces.

Optional Oven Method:

If you prefer to skip frying, you can bake the coated chicken pieces directly in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through cooking, until they are golden and cooked through.

This homemade chicken nuggets recipe offers a crispy exterior and tender, flavorful chicken inside. Customize the seasoning and enjoy them as a snack or part of a meal.
