Ingredients:
- A teaspoon of sesame oil
- Three cups of shredded, cooked chicken breast meat
- Half a cup of vegetable oil
- A third cup of chopped green onion
- A quarter teaspoon of ground black pepper
- A third cup of rice vinegar
- Half a teaspoon of ground ginger
- A package of bow tie pasta (16 ounces)
- A quarter cup of sesame seeds
- A third cup of light soy sauce
- Three tablespoons of white sugar
- A third cup of freshly chopped cilantro
- Prepare a skillet on medium-high heat. Add sesame seeds and stir occasionally until they turn lightly toasted. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Boil a large pot of lightly salted water. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until it's al dente. Drain the pasta and rinse it under cold water until it cools. Then, transfer it to a spacious bowl.
- In a tightly sealed jar, mix together vegetable oil, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, sesame seeds, ginger, and pepper. Shake the jar vigorously.
- Pour the sesame dressing over the pasta and toss gently to ensure an even coating. Add chicken, cilantro, and green onions, and mix them in delicately.
